Yonkers police say they arrested a New Rochelle woman after she was found unconscious, slumped over a baby stroller that had her 6-month-old twins inside

Officers say they discovered Jessica Reyes, 30, unconscious beside her infants – with a burnt cigar allegedly comprised of PCP and synthetic marijuana (K2).

The incident occurred on Mill Street.

A concerned witness flagged down police officers and told them about the unconscious woman.

When officers tried to wake up Reyes, she allegedly said, “Don’t take my children, I only took a few pills.”

Reyes’ 6-month-old twin daughters were taken to a hospital, and were found to be in good health. They were then turned over to Child Protective Services.

Residents who live nearby say many homeless people hang out on Mill Street using drugs. They also add it’s an area where kids pass through when they leave school.

Reyes now faces child endangerment and drug-related charges. She is due back in court later this week.
