A local Vietnam veteran was honored 50 years after his death.

The Yonkers native lost his life half a century ago when his plane was shot down during the Vietnam War.

More than 70 motorcyclists of the national motorcycle club “Nam Knights of America” honored the Air Force major by riding from New Jersey to his final resting place at Mount Hope Cemetery.
