Police say instead of paying, Eva Pena stuffed about $350 worth of items in her purse at a Macy’s in Yonkers.

Authorities say Pena didn’t get far.

As she tried to leave the store, she was arrested.

Pena now faces petit larceny charges and was suspended without pay from her job as an NYPD sergeant.
