Yonkers man arraigned in stabbing death

Byron Stinson

WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers man was indicted by a Westchester County grand jury on charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the stabbing death of another man.

The indictment alleges Byron Stinson, 37, stabbed Michael Frederico also of Yonkers while both sat in a car at 4:30 a.m. on April 24.

The two allegedly argued while the victim was in the driver’s seat and Stinson was in the front passenger seat. Stinson is charged with stabbing Frederico in the neck, which caused his death a short time later.

Judge David Zuckerman ordered Stinson held in the Westchester County Jail with bail or bond set at $250,000.
