TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police arrested a Yonkers man following an investigation into commercial burglaries that occurred during December 2016.

Brian Conklin, 24, was charged with two counts of felony burglary. He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

On December 21 and then Christmas Day 2016, the Otisville Gulfmart convenience store was burglarized. State troopers found the front door had been kicked in during both instances. Items including cash registers, cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets were taken.

While the initial investigation failed to produce any suspects, in November new information was developed that identified Conklin as the suspect in both cases.
