On Tuesday, July 25, 2017 Yonkers Police Department officers responded to the front of a Warburton Avenue building shortly after 9 p.m.

They found a 29-year-old Yonkers man, who had a wound to his leg near Glenwood Avenue.

After responding Yonkers police officers learned of a second victim, Malik Kavon Clemons, who had been transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his torso.

Malik Kavon Clemons subsequently pronounced dead from his injuries.

The Yonkers PD investigation determined that several people – including the victims – were loitering int he area when two suspects approached them and shot at the group several times.

The bullets struck the two victims and the vehicles near them. 

The two suspects then fled the scene and have not been identified.
