New holiday attraction at Ridge Hill

Looking for something to do on Saturday? Stop by Ridge Hill in Yonkers for the opening of its newest holiday attraction, Twinkling Lights on the Hill. Opening day festivities start at 5 p.m. and include a tree lighting ceremony and celebration of Santa’s arrival. Enjoy traditional caroling from costumed Yuletide Singers, and a performance of holiday favorites from the Bruce Springsteen tribute band, Tramps Like Us. Special guests include Kacey, from WHUD’s Mike & Kacey in the Morning, who will serve as the evening‘s emcee, introducing Santa Claus as he makes his grand entrance and leading the countdown to tree lighting.

Stroll down Market Street, visit Santa Clause in his new cottage home while enjoying the synchronized display of music and lights in backdrop. Can‘t visit this weekend? Nightly light shows run every half hour from 5 to 10 p.m. through Dec. 31, in Fountain Plaza, Town Square, and at 73 Market Street. Santa’s Cottage opens 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, Nov. 11– Dec. 24. Visit  for more information.
