“American Idol” participant David Cook will perform at the Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers on Nov. 18.
Cook, a singer-songwriter who rose to fame after appearing on the talent show in 2008, will perform an acoustic set as part of the mall‘s holiday parade.
The free event starts with community group performances on the green at the center of the mall at 4 p.m. and the parade begins at 6:30 p.m.
New to the parade this year will be Westchester Knicks dancers and the mascot, a dog named Hudson 914.
Another new feature this year will be a selection of food trucks, including pizza by Fortina and Abeetz, as well as desserts from Wafels & Dinges and Sweet Cupcations, a recent winner of the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars.
