YONKERS – One person is in custody and a second is being sought in the carjacking of a female cab driver early in the morning of Thursday, October 17 in Yonkers.
Two would-be fares got into the vehicle, one brandishing a gun and the other, a knife. The cabbie was uninjured.
The car was tracked and located near Route 9 in Montrose with two occupants placed into custody. One was identified as the suspect who allegedly pulled the gun on the cab driver. Nicholas Davis, 18, of White Plains, was charged with armed robbery and sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
