YONKERS: A Spirit Halloween store is opening in lower #WestchesterCounty, as many local parents are fretting about their children’s safety and groups are canceling the devilish events, as some some healthcare providers are cautiously optimistic about the ability for children to trick or treat – at a time when they can not attend school.

#SandraKesh, M.D., an infectious disease specialist and deputy medical director at the New York-based Westmed Medical Group, talked to Good Housekeeping.

She said the issue isn’t candy or candy wrappers because surface transmission of the virus is low.
