COVID-19 Cases In Westchester County Double Over Two Weeks

COVID-19’s second wave is washing over Westchester County

Westchester County now has more than 3,500 active cases of the virus.

“That is a significant number, it is a number that correlates to where we were in the month of May,” County Executive George Latimer said.

“One week ago today when I last gave this report we had 2,252 active cases. That is an increase of 1,300 active cases in the last week. That’s almost a doubling from where we were. Two weeks ago we were at 1,513 cases and that is more than a doubling over the course of two weeks.”
