Montefiore Medical Center has eliminated 149 jobs at its Care Management Organization office in Yonkers
The office manages physician and provider networks in part to reduce health care costs. A spokesperson says the elimination is the result of organizational and workflow changes. Those employees affected by the changes are being offered assistance, including with finding other jobs within Montefiore where possible.
